Program details

The city was founded in 1471 by Moorish exiles from Spain. Its blue-glazed houses and buildings are a tradition that comes from the town's former Jewish population. Chefchaouen was known as one of the main concentrations of Moriscos and Jews who sought refuge in this mountainous city after the Spanish Reconquista.



After pick-up, we’ll drive to Rif Mountains where the guide will give details on the history. Then we’ll do a refreshment stop at Ain Lahcen Cafe Restaurant before continuing with our city tour to Chaouen, Makhzen, Ras El Maa. We’ll have lunch at Casa Hassan restaurant. The we’ll visit Outa El Hamam Square.
