After being picked up at the hotel, you will head to Santa Catalina, a municipality that hosts one of Colombia's biggest natural attractions, the Totumo volcano. Climb up a rustic wooden staircase to the summit, where a relaxing mud bath awaits you. You can wade and swim in the mud for a few minutes without the danger of being swept away by the current!



After soaking up the properties of the mud bath, your guide will explain the origins of the volcano and the benefits of the mud. Calcium, magnesium and aluminum, among others, are the properties listed on a sign at the base of the volcano.



Before the tour comes to an end, Finally, dive into the Ciénaga, a freshwater lake where you can remove the mud from your body. Once you have cleaned off, you will notice that your skin is much softer and smoother! Next, get back in the vehicle and visit a local restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious local lunch.
