Less than an hour away by boat you will come across the natural landscapes, turquoise waters, white sandy beaches and stunning coral reefs that make up the idyllic beauty of the Rosario Islands.



The Rosario Islands are An archipelago of 27 blissful islands located off the coast of Cartagena that were declared a National Park in 1977 and its unique ecosystem is the main attraction of these islands. During the boat ride, you will learn about the history and need-to-know information for visiting the islands. Upon reaching the shores of Isla Grande, you’ll soon see why these islands are on everybody’s lips.



With access to the San Pedro de Majagua Hotel, restaurants and communal areas you are sure to have a fabulous day. The hotel is situated where French painter Pierre Daguet originally built his house and studio; you will see why from the landscapes that initially inspired him. You can make the most of the scuba diving centres at the hotel, ecological walks through the island, kayaking and snorkeling, (Some services payable locally), or simply sit back, relax and listen to the sound of the ocean.



Soak up the tropical atmosphere as you take a refreshing swim in the inviting crystal clear waters that give these islands their unique character.



No day to the islands would be complete without enjoying a delicious and traditional Caribbean fried fish lunch before returning to Cartagena refreshed, chilled out and spiritually cleansed.
