Program details
The Sky Walk tour guides will take visitors both through and above the cloud forest. A series of 8 suspension bridges, connected by trails totaling 1.9 miles (3 km) make this tour extremely feasible for anyone in moderate shape, provides a birds-eye view of the rainforest canopy and visitors will easily be able to study this unique tropical ecosystem, catching glimpses of birds, monkeys, sloths and more as they make their way across, do not forget visiting the Hummingbird Garden.
Then we visit a coffee plantation where you will enjoy lunch and will get the chance to partake in some of the very traditional processes we use here in our coffee plantations that make it possible for us to produce such a rich tasting Costa Rican coffee, the process of one of the more important products and their benefits. This is an awesome natural experience in the tropics.
Duration: Approx. 14 hours.
Start/opening time: At approx. 7am (depending on the hotel location) .
Please be ready and waiting in reception 10 minutes beforehand.
End/closing time: At approx. 9pm.
Languages: Spanish and English.
Medical restrictions: Not suitable for pregnant women and only partially accessible to those who use wheelchairs. High physical effort is required.
Others: At least 2 people are needed in order for this activity to take place.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring sun cream along.
