Built in 1999 and measuring a staggering 420.5m (1,380 feet) tall, Jin Mao is one of the tallest towers in the towers in the world and combines elements of traditional Chinese culture with the newest architectural styles of the time.



The tower is home to modern offices and a luxury hotel, but it is most famous for its viewing platform or observatory desk on the 88th floor providing one of the best views of Shanghai, with landmarks like the Bund, the skyscrapers around in Pudong, the Huangpu river, to mention but a few!
