City Sightseeing Copenhagen Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

General information

Destination
Copenhagen, Denmark

Program details

Hop aboard a double-decker bus to explore Denmark’s capital at your own leisure! Where cute canals, cobblestone streets and the cutting edge of European culture combine to make Copenhagen one of Europe’s most enjoyable and livable cities. Copenhagen has it all: beautiful historical buildings, a fantastic café and restaurant scene and some of the world’s hippest design, and this bus tour is the ideal way to explore the city’s highlights.

With your ClassicTour ticket, visit the Amalienborg Palace, the luxurious winter home to the Danish royal family, where four identical classical buildings cluster round a huge octagonal courtyard. It was founded by King Frederic V; whose statue stands in the courtyard to this day. Swing by the Gefion Fountain, the impressive waterfront fountain showing the Norse goddess Gefion driving a herd of animals before her, where locals like to drop a coin for good luck. Delve into the gorgeously slick modern Royal Library or the stunning Botanical Gardens, both much-loved by Danes and visitors alike.

In the summer months you can also snap up an All Loops ticket, which includes a further two fantastic extra routes: the Colourful Tour and the Urban Green Tour. These extra tours include stops at the Tycho Brache Planetarium, the legendary Carlsberg Brewery and the Museum of Copenhagen. Whichever package you choose, you’ll enjoy an audio commentary available in nine languages, so you won’t miss a thing.
