A 90 minutes drive by bus through the picturesque Arve Valley takes us from Geneva to Chamonix, one of the most famous mountain villages at the foot of the remarkable and majestic Mont-Blanc, the highest peak of Europe (4807 m./15.771 ft). Aiguille du Midi (cable car): a rocky peak near Mont Blanc with year-round snow with a spectacular panoramic view of the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps!



On a clear day, you may even see Mattherhorn, the famous Swiss peak and icon of Switzerland – it’s even found on packages of delicious Toblerone chocolate. You can be the first one on the peak to enjoy the unique adventure: Step into the Void BREATHTAKING! Lunch: When you come down to the village of Chamonix, enjoy your lunch (not included) in the centre with the menu of the day, a surprise meal that changes every day. Mer de Glace (mountain train to the glacier): After lunch, board the charming red cog railway up to Montenvers, you’ll enjoy fabulous views of Mer de Glace. This magnificent glacier is 4 miles (7km) long and averages just under a mile wide.



Surrounded by the impressive summits of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses and Les Grands Charmoz, The Montenvers site is a natural living witness of climate change of our era, which offers several visits including the famous ice cave carved into the Glacier, the crystal galleryand its jewels, and also the Glaciorium, a new space entirely dedicated to the glaciers from their birth, to present and to the future.
