Program details

We begin the sightseeing bus tour by walking to the World Trade Center Building where you can zoom up to the observatory deck on the 40th floor of the Seaside Top for 360 degree views over the city below. Located in the heart of the city, from here you can observe life passing beneath your feet and you might even catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji.

Next stop is the Imperial Palace Plaza to admire Nijubashi Bridge and the surrounding scenery of the National Garden which forms part of the palace grounds open to the public. We cruise through the dazzling shopping district of Ginza by bus on our way to Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Of the 33 temples in Eastern Japan dedicated to the Goddess Kannon, Asakusa Kannon is the only one in the capital (No. 13 on the pilgrimage to all 33 temples). Visit this historic area which includes Nakamise-dori, the street leading to the temple where colourful souvenirs and large paper lanterns might catch your eye. We round off the afternoon with a leisurely 40 minute cruise along the Sumida River for a different view of modern day Tokyo. Once the boat arrives at Hinode Pier, we board the bus back to Tokyo Station.
