Program details

Departure from the hotel. We will continue along the Llanquihue Lake to reach Frutillar, a city founded in 1856 as the embarkation port for the German settlers who arrived in Chile and settled on the bank of the lake. In fact, Frutillar still preserves the architecture, gastronomy and customs of Germany. The city has experienced a strong tourist revival thanks to the beauty of its lake along with the imposing view of the volcano Osorno, in addition to the effort and ingenuity of its inhabitants, who have refurbished the traditional constructions enabling a beautiful waterfront with colorful gardens.

Following our tour we will visit the Museum of German Colonization and the Monument to the Settlers, both representative testimonies of the first inhabitants who populated this area. Back to the hotel. Departure from Puerto Montt bordering Lake Llanquihue to Frutillar.
