Visiting the Humpback Whales Sanctuary in Samana is one of the most beautiful tours in Dominican Republic. Samana's whales are well known as each year between 3 and 5 thousand of these fantastic mammals return to Bahia de Samana and its neighbouring waters to give birth and mate for the following year.
