Program details

Soar above Las Vegas aboard a hot air balloon. A Las Vegas regular, Frank Sinatra, once crooned “Come Fly with Me”. Take the advice of Old Blue Eyes and board a dawn flight over the Las Vegas Strip and the gorgeous Red Rock Mountains.

About a half-hour before sunrise when Vegas revelers are heading home to count their winnings or drown their sorrows, you will be heading to the launch site. This balloon adventure will be a sure bet. The licensed pilot and well-trained crew will brief you on ballooning, a very safe and tested means of travel. In 1782, Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier of France created the first hot air balloon and a year later tested the new-fangled machine with three passengers on board: a duck, sheep and a rooster. Only humans will fly with you but you just might hear a rooster or two crow as day breaks!

Watch the flight crew inflate the balloon made of specially treated rip-stop nylon. The hot air will fill it until it stands more than 10 stories tall. Climb aboard and soon you’ll be flying high.

Marvel at the man-made glitz and glitter of the Las Vegas Strip. Few have the privilege of seeing Las Vegas from this unusual angle. As you rise higher in the sky, you will see how this amusement park for grown ups seems to rise from the surrounding desert like a mirage. The contrast is remarkable. Admire also the immense natural beauty of the nearby Red Rock Mountains.

The balloon will reach an altitude of about 1000 feet during your approximately hour-long flight. Drifting high above the world is a moving experience. Relish in the silence and serenity.

Capture with photographs or videos the spectacular landscape during the flight. After landing, you will take part in flight tradition that dates back to the earliest days of ballooning in France. Raise a glass of champagne to your successful flight. Cheers! Santé!
