General information

Destination
Sacred Valley, Peru

Program details

Sightsee in the best possible way; on horseback! We will pick you up from your hotel and drive up to the Paucarbamba Bridge (9,512 ft), where we will meet our horses. An experimented Peruvian Paso trainer will show you some riding techniques and recommendations to be used along the ride. We will cross the Urubamba River, also known as sacred river, where we will see spectacular scenery with snow-covered mountains and agriculture terraces.

Soak in the natural ambiance of these breathtaking sites while we carry on down the Inca trail. Settlements, tunnels, and many Incan ruins are located along the trail so make sure that you grab your camera. The trail winds through a tropical rainforest complete with lush foliage, exotic wildflowers and the requisite swarm of mosquitoes and then meanders out to the edge of a heart-stopping ridge; the Inca Bridge. Looking down, there is little between you and a 1,900-foot drop to the open valley below. Here is where our van will be waiting for us to return to the hotel. Make sure to reserve your Paucarbamba tour and enjoy the best views that Peru has to offer.
