Plitvice is considered as one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe. This is the first and the largest national park in Croatia which was founded in 1949 and is on the list of UNESCO's World Heritage since 1979.



Plitvice lakes are a unique natural phenomenon - 16 picturesque lakes which are connected by a number of cascading waterfalls. Travertine barriers, which were made in a period of about ten thousand years, are one of the fundamental features of the park. The park is a perfect combination of all natural elements.



Before arriving to Plitvice you will have a chance to visit the little mesmerizing village Rastoke which is full of little ponds, waterfalls and rapids. Departure from Zagreb is at 8 am. Driving towards your first destination Rastoke. Making a small picture/coffee break of 45 min and continuing to Plitvice. On Plitvice your local guide will wait for you to show you and teach you all about the wonders of Plitvice.
