Explore DC with your own itinerary and schedule. Take your bike to a Smithsonian museum, cycle along the Potomac River, or head to one of the area's extensive bike trails. The capital city's flat terrain, abundance of bike paths and spectacular sites make it a great place to tour by bike!



Rentals must be returned at least 15 minutes before closing time and participants must read and sign a waiver form. Tour participants must be 18 years of age or older and younger participants must have a parent or legal guardian present. Rentals include comfort bike, helmet and reflective safety vest (when applicable), trailer carriages and trailer tandems for children are available for rent. For the participant's safety, a properly fitted helmet is provided and everyone must wear it at all times while riding. Also, participants must wear the reflective safety vest provided if required. Tours are self-guided and participants must agree to follow all traffic laws, signs, rules, and regulations while riding. Due to safety precautions, we ask participants not to use cellular telephones, operate cameras or smoke cigarettes while riding and service may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions.

Start/opening time

Rental hours are 10am to 6pm (open earlier and closed later in the Summer). Rentals must be returned at least 15 minutes before closing time.
