Program details

Explore one of the few unspoiled towns in Malta in the south of the island. Accompanied by a guide, you will head to a Maltese "pjazza" through narrow streets where progress has not yet left its mark.

Later, you will head 2 km south-west from the village of Qrendi to visit the most complex and elaborated temples of Hagar Qim, Malta's foremost prehistoric site, excavated for the first time in 1839. These temples stand on a hilltop offering breathtaking view of the sea and the islet of Filfla.

After leaving Hagar Qim you will move to to Wied iz-Zurrieq where you will have the chance to take a boat trip that will take you to admire the Blue Grotto renowned for its azure sea. After lunch, pass through several agricultural areas and vineyards until you reach the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Admire the waterfront lined with luzzus painted in traditional colours that add colour to this serene bay, during the heroic past of Malta, the place where the Turkish and French troops were landing. Enjoy some free time to take a stroll through the daily market!

Finish your day with a tour of the prehistoric cave of Ghar Dalam, home of the first Maltese inhabitants.
