With a famous reputation of ritzy glamour, Nice has an equal notoriety for privileged scandal, making it completely bewitching with its miles of sea-front, fringed by the Promenade des Anglais. We will travel the Promenade des Anglais to reach Castle Hill. Take a photo opportunity – the view is to die for- before we continue to the gardens and waterfalls.
From there we’ll visit Cimiez, famous since the late 19th century as a playground for the rich and famous, and for the Regina Palace, winter residence of Queen Victoria . The monastery, the Place Massena, the square head library and the rose gardens are all well worth a visit. Then drop into the Nice old town, which hosts an amazing flower market on the Cours Saleya.
