Program details

South of Burgundy unveils a beautiful landscape of hills and cliffs.

Here the King is the Chardonnay grape, where it produces round and fruity wines on these amazing Terroirs blessed by the sun.

You will be heading north of Lyon, to the Mâconnais area, the south of Burgundy (about 1-hour drive).

A first stop at the foot of Solutré rock will immediately immerse yourself in the atypical atmosphere of this wine region.

You will discover a great landscape dominated by monumental rocks and hills with wooded peaks that produce powerful and aromatic wines.

You will then push the door of a local winery. The winemaker will welcome you and you will taste the famous Pouilly-fuissé and Saint-Véran.

After this nice introduction, we offer you a lunch in a winery nearby.

In the afternoon, you will discover another winery. You will be amazed how vines growing on the same soil, in the same area can produce such different wines.

The lovely Appellations Villages and Regional of Mâconnais will delight you and give you the desire to come back!
