ProgramDay 01: BANGKOK - DAMNERN SADUAK - KANCHANABURI (Lunch)
Morning departure to visit Damnern Saduak, the famous floating market. Along the way, we visit the fresh market in Mae Klong, known as the Railway Market, unique because of the train that passes through it at certain times of the day, forcing vendors to move their goods in a hurry but just for a few minutes. Visit to the Damnern Saduak floating market, where dozens of farmers paddle their little boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and foods to buy and sell from boat to boat, creating a floating market.
Transfer to Kanchanaburi, the town of the bridge on the river Kwai, whose construction by allied prisoners during World War II was made into the movie that made it famous worldwide.
Lunch in a typical restaurant.
After lunch we take a train for a short but spectacular ride on the famous Death Railway, built by the POW under Japanese captivity.
Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 02: KANCHANABURI - BANGKOK (Breakfast)
Departure to visit the Memorial Hellfire Pass Museum, a cut in a mountain to allow a single railway to pass through, hand-made by thousands of Allied POW.
We visit the Prasat Mueang Sing, the ruins of an ancient city that was part of the Khmer empire.
Return to Bangkok and transfer to the hotel, airport or bus/railway station.

Depart from Bangkok in the early morning to reach the pier of Damnersaduak in Ratchaburi province, where one can find one of the most vibrant and colorful floating markets in Asia. Here you can admire hundreds of "Sampan" - traditional boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and other products, and people doing their weekly shopping as if it was a common market. We continue by bus to visit Kanchanaburi, the city of the bridge on the River Kwai, constructed by allied prisoners during World War II. The bridge was then featured in popular film, which made the Kway River Bridge famous all over the world.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Depart on board the local train. (From Tham Krasae station until the Tha Kilen station, to travel a part of the “Death Railway” which crosses the spectacular wooden viaducts the line the mountains.)
Transfer to Hotel.
